Frog spawn

:D

Frogs have been spawning like crazy in my pond today, but my fish have spotted this and are watching with hungry eyes!

It is a lovely meal for them isn't it. Free and available and ready to eat. :D I hope they don't eat it all. We must keep our frog population going. :P I am surprized how many clumps I have now because there are not so many frogs this year, but so far I have a good amount of them. I got 21 large clumps last year so I know I won't get anywhere near that but we are nearly up to double figures.

If you have goldfish I think the frogspawn is safe until it hatches, then it's open house. I have just had 3 clumps laid in the fish pond and have started to warn the neighbours to expect a frog invasion later in the year. I seriously think theres about 10 times the amount I had 2 springs ago
