WANTED. Female frogs......

I was very surprized this morning to hear the beautiful frog chorus in the pond. Usually we don't get this til the middle/end of March. Sonny said he has heard it quite a few times lately. I know they often stay around the pond and the males can stay in the pond all winter but I guess that the mild winter is getting them all confused. I hope that they don't all appear and have an early mating session as we could lose them all. I know in different areas of the country they come earlier than here, some even in January but it certainly won't be good if mine come back. I wonder how they manage for food at all or don't they eat in the winter months.
