Spring flowers in december !!

I looked in the pond the other morning and I could see the marsh marigold flowering. I can't believe it. It flowered this spring and flowered for quite a long time into the early summer but now there are two flowers completely out now. What a surprise. Has anyone else got flowers that are normally in spring coming up?
