Any cheap sultanas around?

Postby dampflippers on Tue Jan 15, 2013 12:27 pm

Hi, Happy new year everyone, and Happy Winterwatch watching this week BBC2.

Has anyone noticed and cheap sultanas around at the moment? (Or what price are you paying at your own supermarket?)

I am just on my way to my local Lidl store so will have a look and see if they have any, and will come back to you on this. :D

Well quite a difference in price with the two shops I went into. We just had a new Kwiksave shop open this week which I called into before going to Lidl. The price for sultana 500gramms was £1.79 in Kwiksave (cost-cutters) but in Lidl it was only £1.19 for the same amount. How much are they near you Damp?

Found some more cheaper ones at Asda with their cheap version at 97 pence for the 500 gramms.
