Sonny has put a few of his photo's onto a separate gallery and they look really nice so if anyone wants to look they are on http://www.the-horsfalls.co.uk/gallery 8) Kaz you will like some of the birds. I am sure he will continue to add more as he looks through the photo's he has. Enjoy :D I am sure he would like some feedback on this.

Beautiful pictures... reminds me why I need to up-grade my lens!

The photo of the gannet with its baby... notice the strand of string in the nest. So sweet. The colour of the pheasant is different from what I've seen (has Sonny been fiddling again  )

Fantastic! My favourites are the wildlife photos, specifically the bug section - and especially the daddy longlegs. I wouldn't have recognised what it was, had to check the URL!

Thanks for the boost to my photographic morale Kaz :P . I don't have a very special camera - it's a Kodak DX4530. I was playing about with it recently and found that it was not set to its highest resolution - ie 5 mp. It is now - so maybe my next pictures will show a difference :) Today is too murky to bother going outdoors, so when the weather improves a tad I'll take a pic of my winter pond.

I have always liked your photos as well. In fact I think you do brilliantly with everything on here. I am always having to ask Sonny questions yet you have mastered it all. :P

Fantastic photos Sonny!
Digital cameras have improved greatly since I purchased mine....not that I ever use it nowadays as my daughter has 'nicked it' for her coursework! (I'm hoping DH will buy me a new one for Christmas)
But no matter what the quality of the camera, I am rubbish when it comes to taking photos :( I have many blurred photos with a finger in the foreground to prove it! LOL

Thank you all for your comments.

I can assure you all that I have plenty of blurred, badly exposed, just rubbish pictures as well, I guess the only difference is I have about 17,500 pictures since summer 2003, pecentage is on my side to have a couple of reasonable pics to show you!.

Keep taking them, you will (and indeed all who show them do) get some good ones.

There are some really lovely additions to the birds on the wildlife section. Beautiful pics of tits, chaffinches and others and some of the lovely swans at Fairburn Ings.
