It certainly is a giant compared to the little flowers next to it. Are they Montbrecia?

Yes they are the same at least that was what I always thought, but when I first mentioned them in the post I couldn't remember Crocosmia and yet that was what I always had called them not Montbrecia. 
Anyway who's bothered really I just like them and have them in my garden but I certainly don't have the giant next to them. What is the plant you have with the seven foot leaf ?? Is it one of your gunneras?
